Julia Dexter

Julia

Julia works with clients to ensure the smooth administration of human resources matters. She helps clients on-board employees to make their transition to new jobs a positive experience and acts as a resource to employees who have questions about payroll, benefits, and policies to be sure that employees understand all aspects of their employment and can take advantage of the benefits provided to them and their families. She also assists clients with compliance, data, and reporting. Julia is passionate about working towards equality and inclusion for everyone, particularly in the workplace, and believes that her work at Positively Partners helps clients achieve that goal.

Julia graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. in Psychology. Her interest in psychology developed through her work in the Infant Cognition Lab, service as an adoptee mentor in the Adoption Mentoring Partnership, both at UMass, and internships at an adoption agency and in human resources. Through these experiences, she realized that she was not only interested in psychology, but also in working for or with non-for-profits. Julia is excited to apply her prior experience as an on-boarding specialist with her interest in psychology and in supporting not-for-profit organizations and the communities they serve.

Julia currently lives in the Boston area and enjoys volleyball, hiking, and baking.
